Schools in UP to reopen from August 16 : UP Government

The Government of UP issued an order today, according to which the schools in UP shall be opening from the 16th of August, 2021. Amidst the Covid 19 protocols, the Government will open the High and Intermediate schools. This decision was taken in a meeting in Lok Bhavan by UP CM Yogi Adityanath.

When the Government delivered this decision, it also stated that the school reopening will be done with full safety measures including making the mask mandatory and keeping social distance. Furthermore, the schools in UP will re-open with 50% attendance. There are many states that have opened their schools since the 2nd of August 2021.

The schools in UP must hold the written consent of the student’s parents to attend the school. Failing to possess the consent letter will lead to not giving admission to the students in the school.

The Uttar Pradesh Government has also announced certain instructions regarding the opening of the higher educational institutes from the 1st of September 2021.

States like Punjab and Uttarakhand have opened their schools from today, ie, the 2nd of August 2021. The schools in Jharkhand for classes 9th to 12th are opened.
