Successful testing of drone in India to deliver mail in Gujarat

Gurugram-based start-up TechEagle on Tuesday said its drone has successfully delivered mail in Gujarat under a pilot project in collaboration with India Post.
On May 27, TechEagle’s Vertiplane X3 delivered India Post’s mail from Habay village in Bhuj taluka to Ner village in Bhachau taluka of Kutch district in Gujarat, said Vikram Singh Meena, founder-CEO, TechEagle.
In India, another new achievement in the field of drones. Drone delivered mail as part of a pilot project in Gujarat’s Kutch district, covering a distance of 46 km in 25 minutes. Mail was sent from Habay village in Bhuj taluka to Ner village in Bhachau taluka of Kutch district. It is a 5 times faster service as compared to road transportation.
In future, the demand for drones will increase in private as well as in the government sector. Because of the successful testing of drone delivery.
“It was quite remarkable for the drone delivery revolution in the country as it was the longest Drone delivery in a single flight and that too in a harsh weather environment with a wind speed of more than 30 km/hour,”.
