AME CET stands for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test. AME CET is conducted to provide admissions in various aviation courses like Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, etc. The colleges/universities/institutes, where admissions are provided through AME CET are one of the highly recognized varsities that are approved by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt of India, AICTE, and UGC. To fill the application form of AME CET, the candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:-

  • The age of the aspirants must be between 14 to 30 years at the time of admission.
  • There are a total of 3 attempts in which the candidates can take the AME CET.

If candidate attend AME CET Counselling and pay INR 30,000/- as counselling fees and get failed. AME CET will refund candidate fees after cutting INR 10,000/- and refund 20,000/- rest amount to the candidate.

MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) providers: There are also companies that specialize in providing maintenance, repair, and overhaul services to airlines and other aircraft operators. These companies are known as MROs, and they employ AMEs to perform maintenance on a wide variety of aircraft types. Examples of MRO providers include Lufthansa Technik, GE Aviation, and HAECO.
