Aerospace Engineering deals with aircraft that stay within the atmosphere of the earth and also with those that operate outside the earth’s atmosphere. It is an applied discipline of engineering dealing with making, designing, manufacturing, functioning, and maintenance of vehicles such as aircraft, spacecraft, and missiles.
B Tech Aerospace Engineering involves the study and practice of physical science and mathematics to perform research. The core areas of specialization for a team of aerospace engineers include aerodynamics, thermodynamics, control system, propulsion, celestial mechanics, and electronics.The study of Aerospace engineering has evolved a great deal in the country with advanced educational facilities offered by a number of institutes offering diploma and degree courses in aerospace engineering.
Aerospace Engineering Course Duration
The Department offers a four-year B Tech program in Aerospace Engineering by providing a comprehensive program that includes teaching, hands-on, and research. The department trains its students for designing and developing aircraft, rockets, and Spacecraft. The department is equipped with simulation and three-dimensional modeling software to train Aerospace engineering students to undertake challenging work in the Aerospace Engineering Industry, in areas like propulsion systems, aerodynamic design, structural systems, precision manufacturing, etc. The department applies the latest technology to study the advancement in the field of aviation and space exploration.
Aerospace Engineering Course Eligibility
- The student must have passed (10 + 02) board examination of State Board or CBSE or ICSE or IB with subjects group of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Technical Vocational Subjects.
- Open Category students should have scored a minimum of 50% Marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with English as a subject.
- Reserved Category student should have scored a minimum of 45% Marks Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with English as a subject.
- The candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% in JEE Mains.
