The Bachelor of Computer Science Applications (BCA) is a program that consists of three years of undergraduate studies which strives to provide students with knowledge along with practical skills in computer science and its application. The course is subdivided into six modules (semesters) and each contains a different focus such as programming, database systems, networking, software engineering, and web development. The goal is to ensure that students acquire both the practical and theoretical aspects of computer science.
The training entails problem identification and resolution, system analysis, and software engineering over a period of three years. Providing hands-on experience to students with programs such as projects, internships, and special practical labs is a major part of the learning strategy. The graduates will easily find employment in software development, information technology, web development, and several others. This course also allows graduates to pursue advanced studies such as the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree, which enables the candidate to further specialize in technology.
