Admission to BSc Clinical Technology (BSc CT) is usually based on the admission policy of the university. Some colleges demand that the candidates sit for an entrance test as part of the selection process. The entrance test usually tests the knowledge of the candidates in biology, chemistry, and physics. The entrance test is designed to test their aptitude and preparedness for the rigorous course.
However, a few universities offer merit-based BSc CT programs in which the students are selected on the basis of their performance in higher secondary school examination. Some institutions offer merit-based admissions with a minimum percentage of marks acquired in related subjects. If you are applying to particular colleges or universities, you must refer to their respective admission guidelines for whether an entrance exam is necessary or if you can get admitted based on merit. Always track the application dates and the dates of the entrance exams so you do not miss any step in the process.
