B.Sc. in AME Eligibility

BSc in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is an undergraduate course of three years related to the maintenance, repair, and solving of the problems of an aircraft. The graduates in this course are responsible for keeping the aircraft in airworthy condition. The candidates, who wish to pursue this course must make sure that they fit into the specified eligibility criteria.

The eligibility criteria to pursue BSc in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) Course is:-

  • Candidates must be appearing or passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
  • One must possess AICTE approved 3 years engineering diploma in any stream or any higher qualification in science with Physics and Mathematics at the time of admission.
  • The candidate who is eligible for admission in B Tech Courses is also eligible for BSc Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) course.
  • Candidate age must be between 16 to 28 years at the time of admission.
  • The candidate must not have color blindness and any physical disabilities.
  • One must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 with PCM or equivalent.
